Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) encompasses a spectrum of different patho-physiologic process associated with abnormal kidney function. Vyadhi are diagnosed on the basis of detailed understanding of signs and symptoms. An Anuktavyadhi is a disease entity which do not have separate nidana panchaka in the Ayutvedic literature but has scattered references. Achaoza Charaka edified triad to establish such anuktavyadhi. Those are Vikaraprakruti (Clinical diagnosis), Adhistanaantarani (Pathological diagnosis) and Samuthanavishesha (Etiological diagnosis). As there is no separate explanation ofChronic Kidney Disease like condition in Ayurved,c Eterature, Chronic Kidney Disease isunderstoodonthe basis of this triad.
